Sales Representative

Brainingcamp is an Austin-based online educational software company, focusing on middle school math.  The company makes learning more interesting and effective by using highly interactive online activities and simulated real world problems.  Because Brainingcamp is so innovative, the company is looking for a strong sales person who is most successful and personally challenged when selling progressive and new technology.

Job Description

  • Sell to middle school principals, math department chairs, and district math specialists
  • Follow-up marketing leads
  • Prospect leads with an identified need, qualify, identify decision-makers, and close
  • Conduct web and personal demos
  • Report weekly sales forecast
  • Candidates will be given the flexibility to work from home part or full time

Requirements

  • 2+ years of business-to-business sales experience
  • Experience selling to educators strongly desired

Software Developer

Job Description

  • Implement sophisticated interactive Flash games, simulations, and activities
  • Manage a complete software development cycle:  requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support
  • Work with artists and illustrators to achieve rich 3D animation
  • Help define and improve development processes, systems and tools
  • Accurately forecast work and deliver on deadlines without compromising quality

Requirements

  • Flash (advanced)
  • ActionScript 3 (advanced)
  • HTML (advanced)
  • XML (advanced)
  • Javascript (intermediate)
  • CSS (intermediate)
  • Java (intermediate)
  • Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Photoshop are a plus
  • Experience with a version control system

Math Curriculum Developer (Contract)

Job Description

  • Create all math educational and instructional content for software programs
  • Develop interesting and challenging real world math problems
  • Ensure alignment with standards requirements
  • Keep abreast of and ensure alignment with relevant curriculum standards and guidelines
  • Collaborate o projects with software developers and graphic illustrators and continuously provide guidance on age and educational requirements
  • Conduct field testing and use feedback to drive further improvements
  • Provide marketing and strategic corporate input
