Prime and Composite Numbers with Hundred Board

A prime number is a number greater than one with only two factors, one and itself. A composite number has more factors than just one and itself. find all the prime numbers on the hundreds board by shading all the non-prime numbers. The number 1 is not a prime, so shade it. The number 2 is prime, so leave it unshaded but shade its multiples. The number 3 is prime, so leave it unshaded but shade its multiples. Do the same thing for the numbers 5 and 7. At this point the unshaded numbers are all the prime numbers between 1 and 100.
